Selling your house in Austin & Steiner Ranch

Charles and I are very active listing agents in the Austin area.  We are very familiar with the entire market area and have helped clients buy and sell their homes.  We have had great success and great joy pursuing our profession.  Those of you that we have helped know that we are with you from day one and even after closing we stay in contact.  There are a couple of things that make it possible to sell a home in the current market. 

1. The seller must be aware that there are many forclosure properties scattered accross the region.  Many buyers are going to look at these properties to see if they can get a bargain. 

2. New Home Builders are still very active and are offering upgrades and reduced prices. It stands to reason that a buyer will consider a new home over a resale in the same price range.

3. Condition and appeal may not bring more money but may well make the difference between a sale or not. We are quite involved with sellers with suggestions about staging and pre-inspection.

4. Pricing is the most important of all. This is not the time to put a high price and wait for a buyer to come along. IT WILL NOT HAPPEN. Appraisers are very cautious and if the property does not appraise there will not be a loan.    Call us and we will discuss how to sell your home.
